The Applicant plans to construct a six turbine wind-powered electric generation facility in Lake Erie, 8 to 10 miles off the shore of Cleveland. If constructed, the facility will have a total generating capacity of up to 20.7 megawatts. The project includes a 12-mile long submerged electric line to transmit power to Cleveland Public Power's onshore Lake Road substation.
